Lisa Rivero MS, FNP-BC, APRN, is a board certified Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Lisa has over ten years of aesthetic experience and prides herself on offering advanced aesthetic treatments that are both safe and effective.

Not only has Lisa received extensive training in all FDA-approved neurotoxins and dermal fillers, she also brings a wealth of experience with multiple skin care modalities to offer patients the best plan to achieve natural youthful results. Lisa has traveled nationally and internationally to be trained by those considered to be the best in the industry.

I was born and raised in Florida and have been in Chicago for about 13 years now. My nursing background is in Cardio-Thoracic surgery and ER/Trauma. I left bedside to fully dedicate my time to Aesthetic Medicine in 2019. I am currently working on my NP at Purdue University and plan to graduate in 2025.

When I’m not in the office elevating my patients you can find me traveling with my family or at an aesthetics conference soaking up all the knowledge I can! I firmly believe that we are never done learning. When we stop learning we stop growing.

I have a passion for teaching and education. I have always enjoyed helping new nurses to succeed whether it was at the bedside or in aesthetic medicine. This can be a tough field to navigate and I am here to help guide you through the all the twists and turns that you may face. My goal is to help you find your place in this industry and for you be as successful as possible. I believe there is room in this field for everyone and together we are better. Angela is a dedicated nurse, holding a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree while in pursuit of

receiving her Master’s in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner. She brings a strong foundation of

knowledge and a deep commitment to providing exceptional care. Her healthcare journey began

with extensive experience in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where she learned the

importance of attention to detail and the art of patient-centered care. From there she

transitioned into the operating room, collaborating closely with board-certified plastic surgeons,

igniting her passion for aesthetics. Her unique background seamlessly transitions into her role

as an aesthetic nurse. Her philosophy centers on a natural, balanced approach to helping

individuals age gracefully. She is dedicated to enhancing your unique beauty, allowing your

authentic self to shine through

Meet Nancy, a Spanish speaking Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner, who graduated with her Bachelor in Science of Nursing in 2013 and became inspired to further her career by completing her Master's in Science of Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2018. She has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare field and has grown a passion for building strong relationships with each patient. Her experience includes primary care, urgent care and providing weight loss treatments as well as providing laser hair removal treatments. Ready for a change, Nancy decided to embark in a new journey in the aesthetics industry where she has found a new growing love combining both the beauty industry and nursing. Outside of her career, she enjoys time with her family, reading a good book and trying new restaurants in town.

Grace graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2010 with her Bachelor’s in the Science of Nursing. Currently, Grace is serving the pediatric oncology population and their families’, now embarking on a new chapter in the aesthetic industry as an Aesthetic Provider. Fueled by a passion for mastery and delivering top-tier care, she carries a rich background steeped in compassion and thoroughness. Grace places a high value on continuous education and training, eagerly bringing her skill, and expertise to the field of aesthetics. Sharing her own experience, Grace received botox for the first time during a trying time for her personally. The investment renewed her self-confidence which gave her the boost she needed with the lack of sleep she was getting with two young babies at home. Grace’s goal with every patient is to personally connect and be able to give them the boost of confidence they may be needing to take on everyday, comfortable in their own skin.

Allow me to reintroduce myself; my name is Alyssa Carrillo, RN, BSN. I have been a nurse for eight years with diverse inpatient experience. I have worked alongside Dr. Gregory Wiener, MD, FACS, as his OR/PACU nurse for the last year. Working in plastic surgery has been an exciting and educational experience. I'm blessed to have the opportunity to enhance my knowledge and grow my skills in a specialized field. I have such a passion for beauty and building self-confidence.

I received aesthetic injectables training through National Lazer Institute and Confidence Bar in Chicago. I'm certified and offer injectables such as neurotoxins, fillers, PRP, microneedling, and VI Peel. After one full year of injecting under Dr. Wiener, I'm excited to announce that I'm building on my brand, Pretty Needles Aesthetics LLC. I'm super honored to work with one of the best, most supportive, and most knowledgeable mentors in this industry, Lisa Rivero APRN-BC, who serves as my medical director and with whom I will continue to learn and grow. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Chamberlain University, where she honed her skills and knowledge in healthcare. Currently, Lizzie is pursuing her Master's degree from Indiana University, set to graduate in May 2024, which further enhances her expertise in the field. She has practiced as an obstetrics and gynecology nurse for the majority of her career and is now working in primary care. Ready for a change, she decided to go back to her roots.

Meet Gabriela Murray, BSN, RN, a new Aesthetic Nurse with Advancing Aesthetics. Prior to Gabriela's career in nursing, she received an Associates of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. She also obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology and Sociology. This led Gabriela to a career in Corrections, where she was an Inmate Counselor. Gabriela decided that she wanted to help people but at a different capacity.

Gabriela attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Her healthcare career began on a Transplant-Hepatology-Pulmonolgy unit. There, Gabriela provided care for liver, kidney, intra-abdominal, and lung transplant patients. Along with caring for this specialized group of patients, she also cares for patients with vascular disorders.

Like many in the healthcare profession, her life was drastically changed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Gabriela did not want to leave the nursing field completely, but was ready to make the transition away from the bedside. She has always had a passion and interest in beauty, but she still wanted to put her nursing degree to good use. Gabriela decided that Aesthetic Nursing was the way to go.

Gabriela brings to aesthetics her eye for detail, and her ability to relate to her patient's beauty desires and goals.

Hello everyone! My name is Kasi Ofem, and I am a registered nurse with over a decade of experience. I have dedicated my career to providing expert care to diverse populations. After graduating with my bachelors in nursing, my passion for education and my expertise led me to the role of the Head School Nurse at a private school. At the end of 2020, I pivoted to ambulatory nursing to provide Covid-19 related and outpatient care across several specialties at the University of Chicago, a great opportunity to gain versatility in healthcare settings.

Motivated by a desire to continually expand my nursing skills, in 2021 I pursued a new professional chapter as an Aesthetic Nurse. This specialization has given me the ability to combine my love for creativity and aesthetics with providing excellent patient care. Over the past two years I have worked to develop my skills while working with a diverse patient population. My goal is to provide a safe space for my patients and empower them to embrace their individual beauty.

Joy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Chicago State University. She aspires to become a Nurse Practitioner one day in the near future. She joins us with extensive experience in Surgery in various hospitals in the Chicagoland area. Joy has always had a great skill in understanding the anatomy and physiology of the body and facial structures. This unique understanding of the facial anatomy gives her that extra edge when providing exceptional care during her treatments. Joy prides herself on implementing unique treatment plans that are tailored to each of her clients. These customized treatments leave her clients with soft, smooth and beautiful results. KC has been a nurse for 10 years, with experience in both inpatient and outpatient environments. KC takes pleasure in utilizing hands-on skills and possesses a keen eye for perfection, always applied with a gentle touch.

Over the last few years, her passion for aesthetics has blossomed because she loves how it has the ability to enhance natural features and instill a sense of radiance and confidence in individuals. During KCs free time, she loves running, working out, spending time with her family & friends, and trying new restaurants.
